Helping The Upstate

Switch-A-Roos is excited about our new "HELPING THE UPSTATE" campaign. We have focused on several organizations to help and/or support in the Upstate area.

Below are the areas we are helping our fellow friends of Greenville!

PROJECT HOST

This season we will be hosting a "CAN-FOOD-DRIVE" to help out Project Host. Project Host is a soup kitchen located at 525 S. Academy Street. in downtown Greenville. More than half of their food comes directly from food drives or donated food.

We would like for all of our consignors, volunteers and shoppers to bring in non-perishable food items to donate to Project Host.

We are very excited to be able to help those who are in need in our community!

SUSAN G. KOMEN
BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION

Switch-A-Roos is excited to team up with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in an effort to distribute breast cancer awareness information to all of the women who visit our sale. With one in eight women suffering from breast cancer in her lifetime we feel it is very important that all of our consignors, volunteers and shoppers have the opportunity to obtain this awareness information. Please be sure to visit the table set up at our sale and receive free literature that may help save a life!

LITTLE STEPS

Switch-A-Roos will be donating some of the "DONATED" items to Little Steps of Greenville. These items will go to help teen parents, and possibly their families, during their pregnancy, birth, and along their journey into the wonderful world of parenthood.

UNITED WAY

By donating to the United Way, Switch-A-Roos is helping focus on a positive change that can be felt throughout our community. United Way not only helps individuals, but whole communities achieve goals. Examples of those goals include: nuturing children & youth to become healthy and productive adults, strengthening neighborhoods and ensuring that families have access to adequate "Medical Care".

AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

Switch-A-Roos is proud to be a sponsor for the American Cancer Society Walk-A-Thon. All money donated for the walk is used to help the fight against cancer in our community and across the country.
