Merchandise Preperation

Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale.

CLOTHING

THE BETTER THEY LOOK--THE BETTER THEY SELL! Please be sure that your clothes are freshly washed, ironed and on hangers. Please check your items very carefully for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, lost buttons, etc. We will be double checking and will not be taking items that are not in excellent condition. Use plastic and wire coat hangers. Be sure the hangers are size 'appropriate' for the hanger. Plastic and wire coated hangers can be purchased at Wal-Mart or Dollar General for very little expense. The hanger should be facing to the left like a question mark.

We will accept spring and summer clothes in March and FALL AND WINTER CLOTHES ONLY in September. This includes children's sizes 0 thru pre-teen and maternity clothing. Please be sure that all clothes are up-to-date and in style. Infant clothing sizes 0 - 9 months are limited to 15 per size/per gender.

All pants, skirts, shorts and capris must be safety pinned to the top of the hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor.

Safety pin or rubber band all sets and accessories securely together.

SHOES

Please bring only like-new shoes that are in excellent condition. Shoes must be tied or attached securely together. Please safety pin the tag to the shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet. Shoes will be sorted by color tags only.

BEDDING

It is best to package a bedding set together in its original plastic-zippered bag. These can be purchased at discount stores. Bedding can also be placed folded over hangers.

BLANKETS

Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together.

LOOSE ITEMS

Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, booties, bows, etc. should be grouped together appropriatly in Ziplock Baggies. Seal with clear packing tape and pin tag to the bag.

TOYS-FURNITURE-BABY EQUIPMENT

All items must be VERY CLEAN and in working order. Battery operated items must have working batteries in them. Place small parts/pieces in Ziplock Baggies and attach the bag very securely to the main part. If parts get seperated it will not sell. Games, Toys, Puzzles, etc. must have all pieces. Games should be taped closed. Puzzles should be wrapped securely in Saran Wrap to keep the pieces in tack. Puzzles, small toys, etc. should be grouped accordingly and put in Ziplock Bags. Secure bags with clear packing tape and pin tag to the bag. TOY'S NOT PROPERLY PACKED WILL BE TURNED AWAY!

Stuffed animals must be LIKE-NEW and in EXCELLENT condition. They are limited to 10 per consignor and they MUST be Donated after the sale. We will not give back any stuffed animals that are not sold.

Large Little Tykes, Step One, etc. toys and furniture are always in high demand.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CAR SEATS!

REMINDERS

All items should be Gently used and in excellent condition.

Clothes should be up-to-date in style and have NO STAINS!
Please check carefully, our lights show everything.

All items must have a tag securely attached to them.
